Nowadays the Patent Office of many countries have launched the program of Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) to speed up the patent prosecution procedures by sharing the examination results with foreign patent office. Taiwan began PPH program for invention patent applications in 2011 and has established bilateral PPH agreement with United States, Japan, Spain and Korea, respectively. Recently Taiwan Intellectual Property Office (TIPO) released the following statistics for PPH filings as filed with TIPO:
